We understand that the COVID-19 situation is ever evolving. The Netherlands government still has restrictions in place that includes vaccine requirements, negative COVID-19 test before entering the country, mandatory health declarations and mask mandates (at the time of publishing this Q&A). While we reserve the right to change the requirements at any time, we do not anticipate on lessening restrictions at this time. We have employees and customers coming from numerous countries. Each country has its own requirements and many still have strong COVID-19 travel restrictions in place. We have a duty of care to ensure that all our attendees get home safely and on time as planned to their loved ones.
- If someone tests positive or has symptoms, they should immediately return to their room and inform the event staff. We ask you to isolate in your hotel room and do not mix with attendees. We want to limit further exposure.
- The event staff will ask some questions related to close contacts so the team can determine if any contact tracing is necessary.
- The Netherlands government has self-isolation measures in place that must be adhered to and will be advised by the Netherlands Government Municipal Health Service team (GGD) at the time of a positive COVID test.
- You will need to work with the hotel to stay throughout your self-isolation. AVEVA will not be responsible to cover any costs of the hotel, food, transport and flight change fees associated with any positive COVID-19 cases whilst at the event.
At present time, we do not plan on doing any temperature checks. However, we reserve the right to change our approach if we see the need to do temperature checks.
We recommend you follow the current CDC recommendations on which masks are better. However, a cloth mask will be acceptable.
Please bring your own masks. We will have a small back-up supply in case someone loses their mask.
We will not provide personal-size hand sanitizers to attendees.
We have employees coming from many countries. Each country has varying guidelines with regard to the country entrance requirements. There are many countries who still have restrictions on travel in between countries. Unless there are drastic changes before the event, we do not anticipate on relaxing any of the requirements. However, we do reserve the right to change the requirements.
- We understand that Rapid Antigen Tests/Lateral Flow Tests are not currently used in all countries. In some countries, the only option is to go to a government testing facility. The Rapid Antigen Tests/Lateral Flow Tests are daily disposable tests that can be completed in your hotel room every morning.
- We do not require you to take a test every morning. However, we ask you to take one if you start feeling unwell.
- Please bring your own tests. We may have some rapid tests available if you need to take one.
Testing is on the honour system. We know attendees want to do their part to keep the event COVID-19 free to ensure safe return home of all event attendees. We ask you to do a test if you feel unwell.
There is a small group of employees from the Human Resources and Events team who will have access to the vaccine passport section of the enrolment tool. They will be checking the COVID-19 vaccine documentation.
Currently no, because the Netherlands country regulations stipulate that you must have a valid vaccine certificate.
Please remember that we do not control what is required for entry to the country. You will still have to adhere to any government regulations for entry/exit. Please use https://apply.joinsherpa.com/travel-restrictions to review the entry and exit requirements.
At present time, we will not accept this to attend.
We have no control over entrance or exit requirements to any country. You will need to manage that on your own. You will need to check the requirements and ensure you have completed the requirements on time. If you have questions, you can ask your airlines.
AVEVA will not pay for anything additional.
